The PhD criminal justice specialization is designed for learners with a master's degree in human services who wish to conduct advanced study and field research while positioning themselves for a leadership or academic position. This online PhD program provides the skills and theoretical foundation professionals need to address complex issues surrounding criminal behavior, prevention, intervention programming, and public policy development.
Residency Requirements: As a doctoral learner you will attend residential colloquia in addition to your online courses. Taken during specific milestones in your program, you will attend three colloquia, each one week in length. You may be eligible for transfer of up to 48 credits.
