The counseling studies specialization is designed for human services professionals who want to gain advanced academic and research competencies. This online PhD specialization is ideal for counseling professionals and others seeking leadership positions in educational, consulting, agency, institutional and public, or private human services settings.
Residency Requirements: As a doctoral learner you will attend residential colloquia in addition to your online courses. Taken during specific milestones in your program, you will attend three colloquia, each one week in length.
Note: This program is not designed to meet professional counseling licensure requirements.
