Through this rigorous online curriculum you will gain an understanding of counseling theory and the development of psychological testing skills. While some master's degree graduates may pursue licensure as psychology assistants or technicians, this specialization does not prepare graduates for licensure as an independent, professional counselor or psychologist. Kingston University offers a PsyD specialization in counseling psychology that complements this master's degree.

Residency Requirements: Three week-long master's degree colloquia, each taken during specific milestones in your program.

Note: Master's degree requirements in this program do not prepare graduates for licensure as counseling psychologists.
